Pretty sure all you have is the version that the regulation hatin, government hatin, hayseeds have given you...which even with your biases should cause you to question what you are passing on..but that isn't a strong suit for folks of your persuasion I have no facts, cause I'm pretty sure you have at best half of the story ..but I would question why such a requirement would be there I'll just take a stab at this being a fire suppression strategy, requiring folks to clear fuel ...and as is often the case these requirements are invoked upon transfer cause that is an inflection point where they can impose requirements ..and of course the republicans would not allow a law to prevent fire if it cost anybody with money anything, so they would have insisted on a program to underwrite the expense, and exempt major landholders/timber companies entirely.. ..but it's certainly a good question You should find out
