Jim, it sounds like the birds at Compaq are coming home to roost. As I recall, you and I had a fairly lengthy discussion about the pitfalls of BTO using traditional channels, and it seems that our negative assessment may be coming to pass. The important question for me as a DELL s/h is does this portend wholesale dumping of boxes as we saw in the dd sector, or will this be limited to the consumer/retail end of the market?
