quit wasting your breath, until the republicons have been voted out and sane people control the levers

it may be awhile
IMHO it doesn't hurt to have the conversation proceed until such time as the lever throwers are in position to throw them. That way a lot of the underbrush has been cleared out beforehand and some things have already been agreed upon.

It will be interesting to see what the Democratic Senator from Oregon ( who is head of the Senate's Ways and Means Committee) makes of this proposal

I think there are some things in the (R) tax proposal to like, let's pass THEM.
