John I think we're almost thru with the break down...All the money going in to bail these asian companies will take effect soon or whats the purpose of bailing them out. Korea is beat to death and Japan is confident that they will make just fine. A lot of big money are playing these swings . I'm tired of missing out on all the fun so I will play them to. It cant be any worse than sitting still and getting creamed when you own companies like cpq & amat. I have traded bay all year with a little success and its one of my favorite companies. I admire Dr. House and intc really lost big time when he went to Bay. He has turned that company around from doomsville

John: I believe the problem with CPQ is the perceived excessive inventory problem or as Jim puts it-'the Channel problems'. I have no idea how real or imagined this problem is. I guess once the Pundits on the street start talking about something incessantly, perception soon becomes reality. I for one would have a little more inventory on the shelf than necessary for the holiday season, as opposed to having less, then again what do I know, I am no retail marketing 'guru'.
