Jon, (may be very slightly OT) Thank you for a very interesting comment. I feel that there is tremendous acceleration as shown by all those announcements at the current Western Cable Show. They all talk about Bips instead of Mips, new interfaces, etc. The question is : what kind of Ram (I hope Rambus Ram <g>) are they going to use for their design for these hugely smart set-top boxes. I agree that the sales figures are really important (prices are lower though, but the product of the two remains large). I hint also that TI is doing something really exciting, but I have not found a real clue yet. They need really smart processing power, especially in DSPs, for Joe Average being able to use them. Check for these new interface applications a company called Inxight (Xerox Park spinoff). Regards, MiB
