re SFY - mine went out the door at the open for 9.7$. This could have been a mistake, but it is my general policy to sell as quickly as possible when something unexpectedly bad happens, as was the case with SFY earnings.

After analyzing the situation, it seems to me that the ~20% slump was somewhat of and overreaction, but then we are dealing with management, that has repeatedly disappointed and a company that is highly leveraged. I am not sure, i am eager to jump back into the fray. There are quite a few well managed E&P's out there like DNR, that are cheap as well.

I have to think more about this.

SFY. Apparently the big issue is their debt. Which will be reduced somewhat if they can successfully sell off some of their properties.

Company still looks cheap on several metrics Expensive though of course on a d/e basis. Not a positive that cash/sh is negligible.

Yahoo shows EV = $1.65B. Company presentation shows production at 33.5k boepd. That's an attractive $49k per flowing barrel. Some other metrics look good too, apparently.

I continue to hold a losing position, and I have added a few more shares the past couple of days.
