Fundamental misunderstanding of the Left.

As the guy who FORCED CBO TO UPDATE THEIR FIGURES put it -- a job is a "transaction". It either happens or it doesn't. If it doesn't, it matters not whether it didn't because of supply or because of demand.

Either way you look at it, it is LOST PRODUCTIVITY.

This is where liberals tend to get really stupid. Productivity is what the nation needs to move forward. If you have more people dropping out of the [already weak] labor force (and getting on the public dole) it is a bad outcome.

Where you idiots got the idea the entire nation can just take the rest of the lives off and everything will keep on rolling, I don't know. But when people stop working, the economy sinks. I don't give a shit about whether it was a result of supply or demand. The job didn't happen.
