<<Yup a big building full of healthy food. Food they have to prepare and cook - so not many items but lots of it. All healthy stuff - you know, beans, rice, veggies, cheese, milk etc. .........Better than filling the kids up with cheetos and sugary pop and making diabetics out of all of them.>>

That is a crazy idea Steve.

you make it sound so simple... but it would create a whole new bureaucracy and we would have to spend more money to construct these new food stores for the poor, and who wants to have one of these establishments in their neighborhood?... and then it competes with the already established food stores... how unfair is that? jeesh, what a mess, when we already have a pretty simple system in place
All healthy stuff - you know, beans, rice, veggies, cheese, milk etc
actually cheese and milk is not very healthy

so your theory is pretty much incorrect on all levels

as usual... pretty damn goofy actually

how about we solve our bigger problems first before we blame the people on food stamps?

I think you should contact Michelle Obama with your idea, Steve.

Maybe she can talk Barrack into it.
