"Scientists are just people and as such, they are subject to the same temptations and failings as the rest of us."

What does that have to do with:

"It is science you drive to work in and science that allows you to make your post. it is science that protected your children from smallpox, polio, and infection which killed most people before science.

It is science that gives you the fine life you live and all your conveniences.

it is science that allows you to work a 40 hour work week rather than from dawn to dusk and live in a family which usually lost half their kids by the age of 5 during the period before science.

From 400 AD to the age of enlightenment (science) life was pure misery for most folks.

They called the time you seem to wish for, a time before science, The Dark Ages!"

You are the one who needs to wise up to the world. Scientist in general check each others work and do a better job than most at putting truth first and keeping their fantasies to a minimum.

You see boogeymen where they don't exist.

Scientists are highly educated and follow the empirical method. As a group they are committed to finding the truth.

Scientist's are not fooled by FOX news like so many others. There is a distinction.

80% are dems, 51% liberals and only 6% Republican's.

I think you need to wise up to the ways of the World my friend. Scientists are just people and as such, they are subject to the same temptations and failings as the rest of us. Money, Power, Sex, Prestige... the list goes on.

My, you are one profound deep fried twinkie, should really consider wearing a mask with all those metalic clay glaze fumes you've been breathing all these years.

True Science & Mathematics: Saudi-Based Cleric Shanqiti: Muslim Men May Enjoy the Company of up to 19,604 Women in Paradise

(Then you have the great promise of Chrisitianity is the bodily resurrection to followed by the great ecstacy, which is the same romanticised physical materialist philosophy applied to the afterlife, no physical resurrection then all is a lie.)

Such original material, this fellow could book himself in Las Vegas except he's serious, so much for monagamy?

Koan worships scientists like they did priests in the middle ages he might as well call them lab coat clerics.

The decline of Christianity and communism has pushed people to look for a new religion. A lot of people have became very rich collecting offerings from the faithful at the alter of global warming. It has a large cadre of lawyers, lab coat clerics and politicians all happy to issue tax receipts and receive sacrifices.

John Howard of Australia on his talk "One Religion is Enough".
I chose the...title largely in reaction to the sanctimonious tone employed by so many of those who advocate substantial and and costly responses to what they see as irrefutable evidence that the world's climate faces catastrophe...To them the cause has become a substitute religion.
Nigel Lawson former British chancellor
"Global warming is a new religion and blasphemy against that religion is not a laughing matter," Lord Lawson has said, adding that "there is a great gap in Europe with the decline of any real belief in Marxism and any real belief in Christianity. This has filled the vacuum."
