My guess is more boom bust cycles impacted by fed intervention, financial engineering, asset bubbles, technology and globalization all making change more rapid than ever. A new set of winners/losers the end game as much shorter cycles in rapid fashion unfold. I maintain it has been capitalism on steroids for most everyone not on the dole or with a superpac.. There is a reason crony capitalism and the superwealthy buying market share and a secure risk free stream of cash flow via superpacs has taken off like never before
