Why the wingnut blog-o-sphere tells him that they are not subject to group think. So when they all parrot the current meme, often word for word, that is just because they all reached the same decision at the same time...

Somehow. But that isn't group think. That is each individual expressing his or her independent thoughts. At the same time. In the same words.

I don't think they all think alike. I do think that the gun nuts put up with the evangelicals, who put up with the racists and haters, who put up with the tax haters, because they all need each others votes. So, they might as well be monolithic group thinkers.
