The suggestion is that some other president might have been able to stop it, which just isn't consistent with what we know to be fact. There was not one bit of "actionable" intelligence to suggest what was about to happen. That has all been established.

The only real place it could have been stopped was when various opportunities to get bin Laden were allowed to pass during the Clinton years and that responsibility will forever be with him.

I'm not making a deal out of it. It could have happened to Clinton, to Bush 41 or 43, Reagan, or Obama. Because no one could have stopped it; we had absolutely no opportunity to have done so other than if Clinton had behaved differently in the late 90s.

The reality is even Clinton, while he had the chance to get bin Laden, could not have known what was coming.
Clinton could have gotten bin Laden, and CLinton SHOULD have taken out Saddam.

Anyway, you and I won't be agreeing on this topic.
