I just gave extreme examples where one totalitarian ruler uses excuses to invade a neighboring nation.

Same happens now in Crimea, no one denied the Russian fleet or Russian forces to continue to stay in Crimea. There is no economic value to the Russian to take over Crimea, as I wrote before.

To subjugate Ukraine with its fertile lands and ample natural resources is a very profitable incentive for Russia

Further Ukraine is the gateway of Gazprom NG to Europe which consumes 25% of its energy needs imported from Russia. By controlling Ukraine Russia is controlling Europe that is IMHO the endgame.

Europe better wake up quickly sent NATO into Ukraine or Europe will be lost within a generation.
