This revised estimate seems high to me based on today's announcement. Does anyone knw what the mean estimate was for CY 98 before today's announcement?

By the way, this situation reminds me of NOV 95 when I first purchased KLIC at 33. Analyst earnings estimates for the next year were over $3.00 and I thought the stock was cheap. Too bad those estimates were nowhere near what the company eventually reported. Hope this is not a repeat of that situation.

This brings me to my next point. Never trust analyst estimates. I cannot believe the amount of money these people are paid when they have no clue what is going on with the companies they follow. I too can downgrade a stock and revise earnings estimates after a company tells me that they will not make the quarter. For once, I would like to be able to see these analysts go out on a limb and earn their money by anticipating problems.

This still makes it a 20 x $ 1.95 = $40 stock. Thus buy at these levels and wait patiently.

I have to free up some money and buy KLIC.

Happy trading.
