I am saying I want a strong public school system and no public money in religious schools. If they want to have schools they can fund them themselves.
OK--fine. But what Democrats need to come with is an alternative plan to "fix" the failing public schools from which voucher kids emanate and transfer. The best way way to do that, IMHO, is to come up with an increased funding plan that has testing controls on it. NC has a plan to close failing schools, but has yet to close one to my knowledge.
