We completely agree on that my friend. And to contaminate that wonder with idiotic fairy dust is a moral crime. I love the way the Greeks created stories to reify the unknown and give the unknown a base and a framework. But they did that knowingly to give structure to their mental universe. Rarely did they use it to their shame as modern nimrods are prone to do. They knew they were inventing the unknown. It was the right thing to do at the time. The human brain requires a structure that has walls and a ceiling. Once you have that you have a place to cook the deer and a reason to eat it that is beyond your empty stomach!

Humanity is so stupid yet so amazing! If we survive I believe we will almost have immortality in a thousand years! But even they will die. :-(

I believe it was my friend Marcus from the Roman Empire who said that there was no difference between 1 year or a thousand. He was right. Just as my Canadian friend, Osler, was right:

"Live life in day-tight compartments. Every day is a life--your life".

OK, I confess. I improved the quote! I do that sometimes!
