Jim
Some day you will hopefully look at the monthly and weekly trends
before you buy a stock. But it is your money ! It is your call !

Don't worry about it too much. I just bought some shares today @42 1/2 and plan on buying more if it keeps falling. Market sentiment is terrible right now, which is probably a good buying signal. But I also wouldn't be surprise if the general market keeps falling through the end of the year, and so I decided to spread my buys out over the next two weeks. Finally liquated my AMTX position, and am looking to get the money back to work.
