I'm wondering if the Ukrainian troubles that led to this Russian invasion may have been instigated by Russian 5th columnists within Ukraine. I haven't seen this idea floated anywhere.

Here is another piece and a Canadian radio show with a panel on the Ukrainian situation. The radio show: cbc.ca The discussion of Ukraine comes at the beginning of the program, after their summary of what the show will be about. An article describing some of what one of the panelists said in the discussion: ohio-forum.com I'm not sure why the article starts in the middle of a sentence. But the radio discussion is excellent--the panelists get into the real nitty gritty of the situation from the Russian perspective as well as the Ukrainian, the EU and the US. It seems to me that the Russian perspective often gets lost in a lot of the discussions in the West.
