Corporations like Apple, Microsoft and Google all have schools they can't point to where they have donated computers, software, etc. This is done under their public relations budgets, and used to prove they are good guys, public spirited, by their advertising depts.

But they can't do that for every school in the nation. Nor will they.

To do that, it needs to be made public policy, and taxes need to be raised to pay for it.
