From the article: Netflix as the only place to see "House of Cards"....One other major benefit is that Netflix owns ALL rights to the shows, and can easily now start offering some kind of service in new markets like Asia.... Does Netflix actually own 'House of Cards'? My understanding is that it merely has an exclusive license. In contrast, I believe that HBO owns much of its content, which provides additional upside through DVD sales, licensing rights to others, etc.
