Well - that post required some work to digest. I had to do a copy and paste word - and then separate the individual thoughts so I could feed my simple brain digestible packets of data. Thanks for sharing the your perspectives - they are appreciated.

There were a lot of assumptions that made the message and the math balance. Perhaps my biggest take was the number of rigs in the past to maintain a lower production rate vs the number now. But then there is the associated gas supply (greatly reducing flaring seems like a no brainer).

Perhaps the message is to invest in the drillers and the E&Ps. Last weeks earnings reports showed clearly that some drills simply do not produce per plan. None the less the driller gets paid.

No matter how the math works out vis a via the assumptions - the message is clear - the draw of this winter will make for an interesting summer. Go Utica - Ohio needs the money!

PS: It is all of 12F here in NE Ohio so we are again taking one for the team. I note this is particularly difficult for us as we just returned from 10 days on Sanibel/Captiva.

PSS: As cold as it is here - the snow is nailing the southern part of the state and it looks like ice for the middle states - eg Kentucky and back to the SW - ugly.

PSSS: The futures are ugly. It looks like the markets have discovered events in the Ukraine.

PSSSS: What was the saying about "may you live in interesting times"?
