And, there will be a cost to be paid.
Putin may have underestimated the costs to him, and Russia for this though.
We will have to see.
They will pay in economic costs to them, and may lose other things like their
G-8 membership too.

>>
My point is the prez warned Putin there would be a cost to it, so Putin did it anyway.

Russia gives Ukrainian forces in Crimea ultimatum to surrender

KIEV Mon Mar 3, 2014
uk.reuters.com

(Reuters) - Russia's Black Sea Fleet has told Ukrainian forces in Crimea to surrender by 5 a.m. (0300 GMT) on Tuesday or face a military assault, Interfax news agency quoted a source in the Ukrainian Defence Ministry as saying.

The ultimatum, Interfax said, was issued by Alexander Vitko, the fleet's commander.

The ministry did not immediately confirm the report and there was no immediate comment by the Black Sea Fleet, which has a base in Crimea, where Russian forces are in control.

"If they do not surrender before 5 a.m. tomorrow, a real assault will be started against units and divisions of the armed forces across Crimea," the agency quoted the ministry source as saying.

Obama will get right on this, right after a few rounds of golf.

Evidently Putin is not concerned in the least about the ‘cost’ of his incursion. He shredded the memo. Obama’s words carry no weight with anyone, be they foreign or domestic.

Worse, our adversaries are watching our ineptitude and weakness. And they are taking away lessons that they will use against us. We are in big trouble.

This is where the rest of the world finds out that the weakened United States of America they always wanted is NOT a good thing.

The only people afraid of Obama are Americans!
