Maybe he was not trying to escalate things further. Maybe he was already briefed. You don't make a very good point. He was very involved with this all weekend, and gets regular natsecurity briefings. I doubt the Secret Service said anything like that. What is your source? Again, surely you are not trying to say that Obama is less intelligent than George W? Please. This is not only Obama's problem, or a US problem with what has been done in Crimea. It is a world problem. Would you have had us move troops there and confront Russia, about their invasion of a non-NATO country, that was once part of Russia? This makes no sense. No serious military person is suggesting that we have any military option here. >> why would/did he skip the nat security meeting yesterday ? lets be honest was anything going on in the world that would make one go to such a meeting.
