I've noticed that computers with AMD processors are cheaper, but because I'm not at all familiar with them, I am more inclined to get one with an Intel processor. I don't do any serious computing that requires a beefier processor though, so I might just try one. I don't want to have to buy another computer in 2-3 yrs. Is there any way to find out about the life of these processors? Do Intel processors outlive AMD processors?
