I have had several computers with AMD processors they were all just fine.

I have both Win 7 and 8. Win 8 has a really big learning curve because you can't find all the stuff you used to know where it was. (Pardon the dangling participle.) It is very solid however, I have had no problems with it other than learning to use it. You can customize it to be much like Win 7 which is not too much different than XP. It took me several months to stop cussing Win 8 and I used to be a computer guy before I retired.

Blessings,

JRH

thank you.

The last time I looked Dell was still featuring Win 7, so they must think it still has a useful shelf life.
