What Microsoft should do, ASAP, is sit down a group of people that are familiar and comfortable with older MS operating systems, give them non-touchscreen Windows 8 machines, tell them to replace their old computers and use these, and give them a number to call with questions, complaints, observations. They'd learn what I've been learning. That they didn't do this already is the great mystery. It's called user testing. Part of it is that the entire industry expects PC's as we know them to be history within 5 years. I don't agree. Neither do most of these smart people: blog.newegg.com
