Are you sure?
How much of its revenue does YHOO get from advertising?
Of that, how much comes from the affected asian markets?

Companies tend to cut back on discretionary expenses like advertising in hard times. I would expect web advertising to be even more "discretionary" than regular adveetising.

I don't know the answers to these questions -- would love to see some hard facts.

>>>James, YHOO is just a website--no exposure to the problems of the Asian
economy.

YHOO has no inventory, pricing pressures, labor costs, etc.<<<

Also no operating profits to speak of. They still make most of their money on interest from their original investors.

Now that will tend to isolate you from the up s and downs of your customers!
