Exactly right... although it's very difficult for congress to smack down a president who asserts a certain military action is needed, which mushrooms into Trillions.... but I expect it will be much better at this going forward.
OTOH I may be wrong... as these fools still seem to jump up and down like Mexican Jumping Beans on acid each time something happens like the recent Ukraine events.

If ever someone like Putin, or whoever the hell is running China at the moment wanted to expand, thanks to US "Middle East Fatigue" now would be pretty much a no brainer to try and grab something. Of course Russia grabbing Ukraine would be a joke... might last a decade if they were lucky, more likely wouldn't even happen- LOL As for China, they could grab Taiwan and what the hell would we do?? I bet they'd try and stop them from using their dollars... that WOULD be interesting.

You said there was "no such thing as a Reagan deficit", but you ARE saying there is such a thing as a George W. and Obama deficit?

If Congress was totally at fault with Reagan then Congress must have been totally at fault with the other two, yes?
