I maintain that the patient shouldn't have to know what the codes are but should know what services he had performed.... I recognize that most people don't object especially if they have insurance to cover it...

EHR is electronic record keeping????? If so, it's the best thing that I've experienced since I've been going to doctors..... no more shuffling through the top 2 or 3 pages of your records looking for something the guy your seeing has in your file.....and disregarding what other records you may have..... I have always kept a personal file of all my data and will remind the guy I'm seeing what I have versus what he sees in those top 2 pages...

I don't know about rural Arkansas, but the doc with a black bag and a horse drawn cart making house calls is very rare these days.......thank goodness...
