The man on the street is pi$$ed off. They blame everyone but the criminals they elect to run the government. People are selling their cars to save money. The won is free falling. I arrived here in late August when the won was at 815, now 1565 and falling. Almost 100% currency inflation. The IMF will not stop it. The day they injected 5.5 billion won into the country, the won still fell. Luckily, we have guns and gates and guards so I am not at all worried about my existence. The Koreans still do not understand where they went wrong. The man on the street seems to know little of economics on any sort of global scale. I have a feeling times will be very interesting here economically for quite a while.
