Excuse Me,

i don't quite understand you're remarks...are you implying that with a float of 22 mm, nobody could short this stock enough to have a significant impact?

i am a research analyst and take it from me, there are hedge funds out there large enough to put enormous pressure on this stock...in fact, i know of one that had a very large short position in relation to the total market capitalization of VVUS...in this case, the size of the position they had established was trivial compared to the overall size of the hedge fund...so, when some funds short a particular stock,i know that the longs will feel it...

however i do believe that with a specified number of shares allowable for shorts, any shorting pressure will be limited once an institution can't borrow anymore stock...just my opinion...

like i said before, been tracking instinet trading...seems like one person (institution) is responsible for the downside pressure...
