You think the world is static from a terminally skewed arm chair vantage, all it would take would be a three day survival situation, lets make that in some semi- tropical island jungle situation. You'd find relentless motions, rains, winds, weather, pounding surf (add crawling fire ants), this is the driving forces of nature on a world like ours, absolutely relentless driving change.

Your fairytale propaganga is boring, empty romanticised armchair rhetoric, the real world is just far more than that.

What you think the crystal is alive and thinks...

That's a completely simplistic senile question, purely disingenuous, careful, you're slipping all the way down into silliness now. You seem entirely fallen into this armchair propaganda trap, in a game history & scientific revelation has already begun to show you're not going to win.

The difference between you & I in one sense, is I believe in an extremely dynamic Universe that is "All God" or "Nature", while you're only acting as tiny spec of selective perception, a God that is fragmented and a very vague, antiquated fairytale creation god at that.

Perhaps there are some scientists that are "materialists", thats just what their passion is, their fields of study, which in no way makes them any less spiritual than you, who's special skills & purpose remains a great mystery to us all?

There's science which shows myriad forms in Nature building structures which are themselves built from earlier structures, this is shown clearly all the way back. There's arm chair rhetoric & feeble propaganda protest and then there's science, perhaps you need to go off and start a wishful thinking, creation thread?

It starts long before crystals of zircon forming here on earth, which are always fascinating mineral structures even tho common, are of the oldest known.

Do you need a link to start over from the beginning to stellar evolution? Here lets help you out, yes the Universe is very self organizing...

"Crystal clear: How one tiny grain of zircon can tell us so much about our planet"
independent.co.uk

Another blow to your creationist buddies, as if we really have the time to worry about their madness, are you mad to?

The discovery in Australia of a tiny grain of zircon dating back to 4.374 billion years ago tells us much about the planet’s formative years
