Eric: I recall you sold MCRE to get 3COM and one other stock. Do you think 3COMs stock easing has influenced
your overall view of the high-tech market ? For example, the market hasn't any real evidence (yet) that
consumer software is going to be significantly affected by the Asian turmoil. BTW: I didn't do it but today I
considered selling all my MCRE, taking the tax loss against earlier profits, and loading up on MACR $ 8.

But I held MCRE as I really like their products and heck,
if the CEO has a tad under 1 mill shares you'd think he could
do something to help his (our) stock ? Any thoughts on a
buy-back ? Who would decide that, is it a board decision ?
Can the CEO just show up for work one day and order someone to buy
400,000 shares with company money ?

BTW (#2): I like to watch MCRE daily big trades at
fast.quote.com

Anyway, what do you make of what appears to me as less frequent large block trades ?

Eric,

Your insights are always deadly accurate. As quick as you made the comment about the downside vulnerability of prices for graphics companies, lo and behold the price dropped away.

I'm wondering if you would care to elaborate on why you see the graphics market as having limited upside potential.

And also, do you have any comments on EFII?
