They blame us to some degree. That is mostly the ignorant however. If the U.S. military was not here, there would be no South Korea, most know that. The North has all but said they would move if it was not for our being here. We also bring lots of dollars here. These people do not understand that the U.S. pretty much made this country what it is, post-war. Being a soldier, I often wish we would pull out and show some of these countries exactly how screwed they would be without us, both for defense and economics.
I do not think this changes much with the north. They will never bargain their way to peace. My firm and researched belief is that there are two resolutions to this situation. War or revolt in NK by the people, who through out the freaks running the show.
I will be here another 10 months or so.
