DR. BOND,

What is it that Wall Street Doesn't Understand?

I though the conference call went rather well and would have expected a rebound in Vivus's stock today. Their explanation is quite convincing.

1. Vivus moves some older production equipment from the old plant to the new plant.
2. Vivus then replaces the equipment that was removed from the old plant with new unfamiliar equipment.
3. Vivus moves experienced personnel to new plant with some of the old familiar equipment so they can pass MCA and FDA inspections with minimal difficulty..
4. Vivus attempts to run the old plant with the new trainees and the new unfamiliar equipment.
5. Vivus suffers a production shortfall while new trainees familiarize themselves with new equipment.
6. MCA visits new facility and now we wait.

So revenues suffer 25% for one quarter. Six months from now when four additional lines are producing and production is up 300% wall street anal-ysts will be recommending a buy at $50.
