There is a constant assumption in all this "it's in the interests of welfare recipients to cut welfare" line of attack, most recently clearly apparent in the statement of Ryan's house committee. Krugman nails the problems with it.

Tamron Hall is really missing the point on Condi Rice comparing her to Hillary.

Rice was integrally involved in the invasion of Iraq and defending torture, Hillary only voted on a bill to allow them to make a decision. And did not rationalize torture.

And Hall calls Rice one of the greatest minds in the country. Great mind, my ass.

Hall did irritate me-lol.
