the ukraine story appears to be still playing out even as it is still developing as invasions / wars go, and even as revolutions / coups went, the current episode has been remarkably peaceful and relatively blood-less, so far it is almost as if both sides or many sides, are testing out approaches, means, and ways so, yes, it does or should remind one of 1934-38 let us hope the reminder does some good imo, whether far right or left, both 'fars' must be snipped in the bud, as both are too single minded to solve problems, near-problems, and otherwise made-up problems in very single-minded ways and always at the heavy cost to some groups while favoring other groups. these 'fars' are a danger to civilization.
