No, no no. If I said society, I didn't mean to. We can't change our "culture" - or more specifically, we can only nibble on the edges of change. Of course we can change society - we do that all the time. Different incentives will be responded to and society will change. Take cigarettes and pot. Society has changed so that one is much less acceptable and the other is more accepted.
