I can't support it (end welfare going forward) empirically and you know it. How can their be data on something we've never tried? I postulate on both faith and my past experience that enacting such a program would be better than what we have now. With measured results to monitor such a program---although I am unclear on how we are going to collect out of wedlock birth data if mothers are not applying for welfare. You probably would have a better idea of that than myself.

And, yes, I only care about welfare unwed motherhood because I surmise those are the kids who don't have enough economics in their support to achieve success--as a group. If an unwed woman can give her kid a middle class upbinging--fine.

Additionally, if Liberals would ever agree to a controlled monitoring and measuring of increases in education spending from pre-school thru high school I would support such an increase. I'm not against effective spending.

In a way I'm sorry De Blasio is apparently not going to get his pre-shool funding from Albany--that might provide us "experimental" results.

You still haven't told me why you wouldn't support the Heritage Foundation's proposal to not cut a marrying welfare recipient's benefit.
