Well, perhaps. Personally I picked up 500 shares at 18 3/4, and I am fairly optimistic regarding the long-term outlook, but given all the bad news and bad forecasts, it might be 6 months until the stock starts moving significantly up again. And who knows...douring that period it might dip even further than this.

William,
It is always nice to see a stock go up, but sometimes people just do not think what say $0.25 per day represents in a year. It is over $60 and that is just not going to happen to most $30 stocks. It might take a few quarters longer for Quantum to reach the $40-$50 range, but I think it will be done and will represent a very reasonable annual rate of return. I see that close to 30 million shares of QNTM traded today. I guess that it means that 15 million shares were purchased by someone (and at very good prices as well). So these statements that everyone is selling the stock, just do not add up. Someone is buying the stock and in a very big way.

I plan to look at the stocks that I currently own to see if the money they represent could be better used to purchase Quantum shares. Maybe I can find a swap that is reasonable to make.
