Um, you were the one moving goal posts. You kept pointing out that those are things that happen in war. I don't buy that, BTW, but it is what you said. So I pointed out the US was not at war with them. IIRC, the only time people in the Cherokee Nation were at war with the US was during the Civil War. And the attitudes were mixed. Some backed the Confederacy and some backed the Union.
