The HDIA annual conference and expo, Heidelberg Digital Imaging's big US shindig, is in Atlanta next year, going from 18 Feb to 21 Feb. Note that Presstek is not on the list of exhibitors. Yes, I realize that Pitman is there, but if there was anything new between Presstek and Heidelberg, Presstek would undoubtedly be there. Also notice that Kodak is featured throughout the program, including an open forum specifically devoted to Kodak and issues surrounding thermal plates and digital proofing. No question as to the relative importance of Kodak vs Presstek. And no question as to where Heidelberg's R&D D-marks are going to go in the future.
