"Highest Minimum-Wage State Washington Beats U.S. Job Growth"

(R)'s made have named their string-pulling funders the "job creators", in order to keep their taxes low and funnel even more tax breaks to them, but results like the above put the lie to it. The REAL job creators are ordinary middle class and working people that spend money. If you pay people enough, they have money to spend on things other than rent and bills.

Damn. Since there is only one independent variable in that analysis, it must be that higher minimum wage means better job growth, right?

Dumbass.

The prediction hasn’t been borne out.

None of their predictions about doom and gloom if taxes and/or the minimum wage are raised are ever borne out. You think they'd re-evaluate in the face of overwhelming evidence that such things just aren't true, but they never do. I guess ideology trumps reality.
