GM,
An interesting observation AMAT volume traded 37,632,200 shares
with a monetary value of $1,035,762,000. I'm assuming that
this indicates that a lot of funds unloaded today! Anyone
else care to make an assessment on the tremendous volume?

This (hopefully) means that the funds will stay away for the
duration of 1997 and when things look stable will dump all
this revenue back into AMAT early next year while looking for
value stocks. We may see some more slight downward movement
but I think the worst is over for now. Expect to see $25 by
next week options expiration, if not sooner. Should be a slow
drift down from here as things settle/stabilize briefly with
occasional day rallys as traders play on the moguls.

Any comments, thoughts, WAG's??
