If there is anything I find unattractive about Cruz, it is that I believe he (like Obama did) is moving too fast. I do believe he is running for the presidency, and he is not qualified at this time in his life to hold that office. Just as Obama wasn't in 2008 (and still isn't now, although one would think after five years he would have learned something).

I do not take issue with Cruz asserting himself against Democrats and Republicans in Congress. At all. But I would find it arrogant for him to believe he should run for the presidency. And I think it could be just as dangerous to elect another neophyte as president after two Obama terms.

That is not to say I believe Cruz is as ill-equipped as Obama is to run the country. That certainly is not so. I just think he needs to sit this one out. I would support him over Hillary, Biden, or probably any other Democrat that might consider running.

..."Not so fast. The chances that Cruz could be a serious contender for the White House are minuscule. His appeal is limited to Tea Party voters. He has alienated fellow Republicans. He lacks the charisma necessary for a presidential candidate. And unlike Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., with whom he is frequently compared, Cruz has no solid Latino base."...
