But the US spends borrowed money; that makes it the world's greatest debtor! It has borrowed and used other countries' gold, e.g. Germany's.

So where payment of UN dues is concerned, that is a non-sequitur when mentioning that other countries freeload from the US.

Truth be known, the US derives the most benefits (legit or not) from the UN.

So, it behooves the US to pay much more than the other UN countries.
