$15 -- hmmm wouldn't bother me abit-- I first bought SNDK at $15 only to watch it go straight to $9 . Needless to say I didn't panic and my patience was rewarded. Plain and simple folks--1) company is a leader in their industry 2) has qt over qt earnings growth 3) has a pipeline building of new products. And as much as I would love to bash Eli I quickly remember that it was he who help push this stock over $16 earlier this year by creatively spoon-feeding the media a healthy dose of SNDK (CNBC, IBD, Wall Street Journal etc...) Relax and enjoy the (bumpy) ride (& if your able to add to your positions) Jeez this is a tech stock! if you can't handle extreme swings BUY BONDS.

Michael - I saw somewhere in the secondary filing that Sandisk listed the currency fluctuation as a risk factor since it has to pay for the wafer in yens. Now that the dollar is up and the yen is down, the "risk" becomes a blessing. I also posted a while ago a research article from H&Q regarding the joint venture with fabs in Taiwan. Sandisk is protected from rising chip cost for duration of 6 months to a few years. I wonder if this will also prevent Sandisk from getting lower chip cost because of this fixed cost pricing now that the dollar is up. You may want to verify this with the CFO.

Mike Winn:

I think that CHKPF is a screaming buy. Market leader in a booming market.

But what isn't a screaming buy when it loses 20%+ of its value within a week or so.
