My concern lies in pipelines constructed by companies with dubious track records, across sensitive terrain, destined for the West Coast of BC. The increased tanker traffic, by itself, poses too many risks to a habitat that would never recover from the inevitable disaster.

I have fished Whale Channel for over 10 years, and I can tell you there is no wider, deeper, safer tanker route to open Pacific waters. What is your opinion on the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion, trebling tanker traffic through Burrard Inlet, downtown Vancouver, from 2 to 6 tankers/day, 24/7?
