As I stated earlier, I prefer to find articles that reference original source documents then interpret them for myself so I get minimal bias in the reporting. It isn't that I can't sort it out, because I have for years. But I just choose to avoid sources that I believe are generally biased. I have totally given up on NYT and generally avoid LAT, although I often use them as a source to pick up a topic I want to read more on.

As to newspapers generally, I don't read them. I will find stories that interest me on google news then find the original source material if I'm interested.

I do prefer CNN's realtime news coverage over the others for international events. While they can be totally idiotic, they generally have the best coverage for international events.

I am a pretty cautious consumer of news. As a general rule, I find people who rely on TV news of any kind to be woefully uninformed.

It wasn't on CNN..it was MSNBC..Rachel Maddow...and she documented everything as she always does
