A new way big money tries to profit from its political clout. Never thought of this one but once I read about it, it looks quite obvious. And dangerous.

There are two issues intermingled in the Krugman piece; income inequality and redistribution. I'm in full support with the argument that income inequality is waaaaay out of control in this country. By all means lets attack that. But then half way through the piece Krugman starts discussing redistribution as if redistribution is a natural consequence of income inequality. That sets us up for class warfare and is there any surprise that the right fights against having their income taken to be "redistributed"?
